EZ Page header links

Can someone please point me to a thread on using this to customize the header menu bar links? I've moved it under the header but I keep completely screwing up the placement, links and colors, etc.. I need it to look and function like our existing site at https://www.imperialgalleries.com. Can I do this with EZ pages or am I misunderstanding?

Or if there are any add-ons anyone knows of to help duplicate this site in ZC format your experience would be greatly appreciated. Yes, I'm completely new, been attempting all kinds of stuff for two weeks with ZC until my eyes have crossed and I haven't gotten far. The things I have accomplished are all thanks to you guys, so thanks for all of your patience and help!

Re: EZ Page header links

Yes, you can use EZ page links to duplicate what you have on your original site. The only problem would be if you want the link backgrounds to be different colors like that, since all the EZ page header links in Zencart are styled as one.

I don't know if this allows individual link styling or not, but it might be worth a look:

Re: EZ Page header links

ok, if I make an ezpage with html this is what i get:

http://www.imperialgalleries.com/images/Welcome.jpg

How can I make it use the second menu and the colored menu buttons instead of the menu bar under the header?
I guess I'm not getting this "EZ" thing..
I can update the links to stuff later, I just need the placement correct..
and I tried that add-on, copied all the folders/subfolders into my template folder accordingly and there are no extra options when I make an ezpage. Is that all you do to "install" the add-on?

Re: EZ Page header links

By default, the EZ page header links are where they are in your image - directly below the header image. That's also where those links are on your main site, so I thought that's where you wanted them. If you want them below the header area into the main page, you'll need to move some code around in the template files.

Once you have the EZ page links where you want them, they can be styled in the stylesheet. The Firebug extension for the Firefox browser is a good tool for determining where the various page elements are and what their classes or ids are.

There's a pretty good readme file in that mod's package explaining how to install it.
