Paypal check out issue?

Hello everyone I have found an issue today with an order and check with the payment method Paypal.

What happened. A man bought two items off my site and paod me for them via paypal.
The strange thing was, I did not get any emails telling me he created an account but in my admin home page he definitely has an account.

Second under his name it says zero orders but it does he has logged in once.

So I was paid by this man for these two items but they remained active on my site and shold not of, they were a maximum Qty of 1

Would any body no why no orders were recorded in my admin and why I received no emails telling me of these orders?

I have had past transactions occur and I was notified by email of orders and accounts created.

Just this time I got nothing like this,

I was still paid tho and I did receive money

thank you anyone for any help

I contacted the customer and he told me that he just checked out with paypal and he is not sure if he did create an account but he told me he did fill in his details to check out with paypal
Maybe I am missing a setting in paypal? for o my site?

thank you

Re: Paypal check out issue?

Chances are your site has some configuration or communication problems. But you haven't supplied enough information.

Please click Reply below and answer all the questions in the Posting Tips section.
And be sure to indicate which PayPal module you're using and why.
Is this affecting all customers? Or just this one and nobody else?
And did this particular customer pay using funds already in their Paypal account? or with a credit card connected to their PayPal account? or with an "echeck" by pulling funds from their bank account via PayPal? You'll need to ask the customer that.

I have only had one customer so far by something off my site with paypal so I do not know if it effects everyone?
This cust already has a paypal account and paypal took funds directly from their bank account, no e check. There card would of been connected

Okay, that what about the other questions?

I am not sure about paypal module
I am using a paypal business account.

I added my email address [email protected] to my paypal account just now

that was not there when the cust made the order

is that the right answer?

Re: Paypal check out issue?

I think what Dr. Byte is asking you to do is answer the questions it tells you to under "posting tips":
Important things like:
What version of Zen Cart are you using?
Has your site been upgraded? When? From what version(s)?
If you've upgraded, HOW did you upgrade? (official upgrade procedure or an automated script from your hosting company?)
What addons have you installed? When?
and all the other ones in that list.
There are different versions of the paypal module - including one that shouldn't be used anymore. If you don't know which one you installed you can check on your admin panel under payment modules to see which one you're using.
