I will look at all three mods for you to TRY to merge them into one 'super mod' or something, but I wouldn't want you to try it live without alot of Localhost testing just in case...

And your are sure 1.3.9 version of Dual Pricing and 1.3.9 version of Hidden Wholesale was working fine in your ZC 1.5 store yes?

I have had a look at the xampp software but have no clue what to do with it. Have never done any of this before

Search for WAMP in the addons area there is a guide. It's slightly outdated, just use the latest version of WAMP for your computer and follow the guide.
Also can you takes some screen shots of right & wrong (make sure you don't show your admin address in your browser bar).. I have had a go at installing both the wholesale mods, I wanted to see what it looks like in your live store as I'm still conscious that both are not supposedly meant to be working in 1.5 according to their respective threads.

I had a look in the addon area and it came up with nothing for xamp. I think I am going to just have to get rid of the uri part as I really need wholesale to work and don't know what i'm doing with all this stuff, thankyou anyway

Just jumped in as I notice you're using the estorenow template, as I have some familiarity with it and am currently using its sister template - bluecart - on my main site prommart com

I ran a validation test on your site for interest in these templates. This should be the result:

Notice that it gives a utf-8 warning. Could you have messed something up in your configuration files which might contribute to your current problem? Perhaps leaving out a hyphen when one should be there?

In any event, you should also look at this problem.

It's WAMP you need to search in the addon area not XAMPP.
But yes as mentioned in earlier posts you don't need rewriting, it's just for aesthetics.
I THINK I have all 3 mods working in a test site though hence wanting to see your screen shots.
SPH has pointed out a potential issue that needs looking at too, probably best to fix that one first.

I have managed to merge the files for the two addons! I went to URI mapping installation check and get this message...

The errors should be fixed as soon as possible. In the meantime though, since the store's configure files have been checked and found to be valid, information about the example rewrite rule for the store was able to built.

which means that if you havent modified this file (or any of the 4 files listed) in you post then you can simply upload them to their respective folders from the ceon folder OR if you have modified any of them then just merge the ceon lines of code into your file.

or have the files over written something? when you install a new mod you should ALWAYS compare the files of the mod to your current store files to ensure you do not overwrite anything, hence the need to merge rather than overwrite blindly.

How old is your store? Have you kept a backup (files AND database) everytime you have added a mod as virtually every mod states to do so in their installation instructions?

Looking at your store it would appear that you have a Lightbox style addon for displaying product images, however I THINK there is an issue with that too as there appears to be no way of closing the lightbox to return to your product, other than using browser back button. But thats not releated to this issue, just an observation and something to add to your 'to-do' list.

ok, i have done as you say, uploading the 4 files from my merged ceon folder to the correct places using filezilla and i still get the errors. Have I missed something? I am clearly not understanding something here!!! ???

3. Do you understand the concept and reasons for merging 2 files of the same name into one?

4. Do you actually open a file to see all the lines of code of a file, I don't mean open a folder to see names of files I mean the actual file within the folder?

These questions may seem disrespectful I'm sorry if that's the case but I'm trying to understand if you understand how to edit and merge files, I have a feeling you are just overwriting one with another everytime rather than merging.

I do If I think I need to and I try to have a good read of them but I do not know much about code so kind of try to figure it out the best i can.
