SSL Advice? - confusing info from ipage

Hi All

I need to got new hosting from IPAGE.com and also SSL , they have free shared SSL , and they have Geotrust quick SSL http://www.ipage.com/product/ssl_certificate.bml

my question is does this type of SSL work for my online store , i asked them if i need dedicated IP and they reply to me that like the follwoing

Bryan Smith: SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) is a certificate that is based on your domain name, whereas a shared SSL, which we offer to all of our customers, is one that uses iPage's domain name. For example:
Bryan Smith: SSL:https://www.yourdomain.com (where yourdomain.com is your actual domain name)
Bryan Smith: Shared SSL:https://yourUsername.ipage.com
Bryan Smith: All of iPage's SSL products are dedicated SSL.
Bryan Smith: We do not provide the dedicated IP address.

So how this SSL from GeoTrust work without dedicated IP ??

Advice please

Both will work. Both will provide the same level of of security. One is more cosmetically aesthetic and generally easier to setup/configure.

Yes, you do.

You'll need to ask the hosting provider. Please repost their reply as it is essential for our ongoing education.
