More details needed...

In what field in admin did you put the part number?

When you say "displayed", what do you mean? Display in admin lists? Display to the customer? In category lists?

Displayed on the website itself.

I'd like to get the products to be displayed in ascending order based on the Model Numbers of all products in any particular category.

Have a look at this thread. It explains the unexplainable. :blink:

I happen to use 1a in my Wholesale site (link below, in my sig) to sort the cards by model number.
