Positioning or removing image from header

Hi,

Would someone please give me detailed instructions on how to move the "Powered by Zen Cart...." image out of the header and center it in the footer.? Or, remove it completely?

I have the basic template came with v1.5.0

My header image is only 87px which I made sure to modify when I replaced it with the original header image. However the space was 97px originally and it looks like it is still the same, therefore
I have a blank (white) area under my header image and between the nav bar.
What do I have to do to fix this correctly?

So I've been trying to replace the ZC logo with my one but no matter what I do the ZC logo can't be replaced. I've tried deleting it from multiple folders and replacing it with a new image.

Every time I click on "View" in cPanel the same old ZC logo pops up.

If you follow the instructions in these two threads that Stevesh recommended, you will be able to work with your logo.
