Did you inadvertently change the image sizes on the admin panel?
What size image are you uploading, what is it called and to what folders?
When you assign the original image to the product via the admin panel, where are you putting that one and what are you calling it?

ok, I'm a newbee to zencart , learning as I go, and it's going well. but stuck on this item, here is a link to show you results: http://inchofgold.ca/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=18

size is 200 x 140 as set in admin/ config/images called 726.jpg into images folder

OK. I only saw one image on that page - the other products had one that said Image Not Available or showed nothing.

What size is set for 200 x 140? You've got sizes for the small icon, the medium icon and the large popup.

I did find the image you 726.jpg in the image folder, but nothing in the /images/large folder.
Check out the FAQ that explains image prep/loading - http://www.zen-cart.com/content.php?223-image-preparation-how-to

There are other explanations hidden here if you search for image or check out the similar threads below but the one in the FAQ should get you headed in the right direction.
