Left column set to 0px but its not, its 10px

Left column set to 0px but its not, its 10px

I am trying to style a new cart and want to make the left menu column go away,
$flag_disable_left = true; is set
Column Width - Left Boxes 0px
Column Width - Left 0px
however it still shows
navColumnOne = 10px
how do i make it truly 0px?

admin > config > layout settings > Column Left Status - Global > set to "0" > save
