Using a database file to build my catalog of items?

I have a large product database file that I am hoping to upload in a csv. format to create my product catalog? Is this possible? If so how do I do this?

Thanks

It must match the ZenCart structure

To view this install Easy Populate from the plugins and create a couple of categories and products
Export these to see the correct structure

Or purchase a commercial product that can map csv columns to product fields.

MagneticOne's Zen Cart Manager is the one I use.
