My site is down "problem connecting to our database"

This has never happened before, but my site isn't working and I'm getting an error message with a Zen Cart logo saying, Sorry, There seems to be a problem connecting to our data site. This has been going on for the last hour or so. It's up intermittently and then it's not accessible.

Is anyone having the same problem?

I haven't done anything to my site today to make it go down.

no, namecheap. it was up just a minute ago, steve, now it's back down again.

It's likely your host is having issues with their server. First thing I do whenever I have that symptom is to call/chat with my host and it's always been trouble on their end.

thanks, i'm waiting for live chat with them now. and steve, it's not namecheap, that's who i bought domain from. sorry, just a little panicked here.
