mailto link in emails not working
Sorry if this has been addressed, but I can't find it anywhere in the forums. I'm far from expert with code, so please be kind!
On my emails that are generated by ZenCart, the mailto link has my store url appended to the front of the href. For instance:
In my create_account.php, the EMAIL_CONTACT is defined by a sentence that include the mailto as <a href="mailto:' . STORE_OWNER_EMAIL_ADDRESS . '">'. STORE_OWNER_EMAIL_ADDRESS ." </a>\n\n" .... seems fine, but:
When the email arrives, that gets changed, and the resulting link becomes <a href="https://domain_name.com/store_directory/mailto:mailbox@domain_name.com" target="_blank">mailbox@domain_name.com </a> </div>
Of course, when the link is clicked, it goes to a 404 since there's no such page as "https://domain_name.com/store_directory/mailto:mailbox@domain_name.com"
My email address is correct in Email Options/Email Address (Displayed to Contact you) and elsewhere. And, for some reason, it is only affecting the STORE_OWNER_EMAIL_ADDRESS in the href, and not the STORE_OWNER_EMAIL_ADDRESS following it, so the address displayed in the email is correct. Only the link connected to it is wrong.
This seems to be happening with all emails coming from ZenCart, and not limited to create_account.php. It happens everywhere STORE_OWNER_EMAIL_ADDRESS is part of an href statement. Any suggestions greatly appreciated!
