Large Gap in between header image(logo) and my nav bar...

Hi new to this how do i get rid of this large gap in between the header and nav bar

there is a pixel that is 80px high... what file do i edit to make that maybe 10 px?

and most likely will not find much assistance here

Search for them here to see how they take license in template design

And if you are actually using version 1.3.8a you need to upgrade as there are known vulnerabilities in that old version

Either in admin > tools > developer tool kit, or in your text editor search for
col2 user_menu
or
class="col2 user_menu"

You'll find the file/s then you can delete, or change the height of the image
Or you can try your luck and check includes/templates/YOUR_TEMPLATE/common/tpl_header.php
