How to use single image instead of subcategory images?

I have figured out how to insert an image on the define_main_page.php. Also, I was able to turn off the subcategories while navigating. I can't seem to make that main page image show up on the initial subcategory page. When you click on "View By Artist" or "View By Subject" a blank page initially appears until you click on one of the artist's names. I want the image from the main page to stay put until an individual artist or subject is selected. Can any of you tell me where to insert my image to make this happen?

If main page is not one image - get out your graphic editor and make it into a single image

I am having trouble uploading an image on define_main_page.php. When I try to upload the image, it asks for the URL and I have tried many different configurations of what I think it is but to no avail. I've been at it for about 2 hours . . . any thoughts on how to find specific directions on this, rather than just the forum?

Not sure exactly what you're asking, but if you're using one of the HTML editors, the URL would be IMAGE_FOLDER/IMAGE_NAME, so if you had uploaded mynewimage.jpg to the /images folder, the path you would enter in the editor would be images/mynewimage.jpg. If you're expecting the editor to pull an image from your local computer, I don't think any of the editors do that. You'll have to upload the image first.
