Not sure what version store is down

It appears that my hosting provider upgraded php 5.2 to php 5.3. Now I am getting an error Notice: Undefined index: customer_id or else a blank page in zencart.

I probably need to upgrade, but I don't know which version of zencart I am using. How do tell the version of zencart if my website is down?

Use your FTP program to look at includes/v e r s i o n .php.
