Assigning/limiting products for a certain user?

Am a newbie and trying to find the correct open source product for my project.

I need to setup a shop to sell photographs. I want to be able to sell photo's that are accessible to anyone ( such as nature photos ) and photos accessible only to certain people ( say customers who visit my studio ). Is it possible to create and assign products specifically for a customer ?

Is it possible to add generalized add-ons for products (applicable for all products on the site )? I would like to specify matt/gloss finish for prints. So I expect the customers to select photos and then select the finish.
