Changing header and footer issues

I have been trying to change the header (where it says zen-cart, the art of e-commerce AND your message here) to my own banner. I go into tools> banner manager and follow all the tutorial directions and nothing changes. The only difference is on the bottom of the website (frontporchromance.com) it shows the banner that I want on the top.

As for the footer-
I am trying to put in place my store name. I don't care of the Powered by Zen-Cart remains, I just want the words 'store name' replaced with my website name. I have tried to go into the zen-cart folder I downloaded> includes> languages> (and also mega-tabs) and changed the info- also according to tutorial videos... and no changes are being accepted or completed.

I am using the basic contemporary green zen cart template for this site.

It looks like you figured out the banner at the top (and bottom) of your site, as well as your sture name link in the footer.

Replacing the stock logo with your own is not done with a banner; see the tutorials:

Even if you like the look of the Classic template for your site, you should not make your edits in /classic/ folders. The untouched Classic template is a valuable tool for troubleshooting, as you can switch to it to see if a problem is unique to your custom template or deeper in the system. Copy the /classic/ folders to a new folder with a name you pick, and edit the template_info.php file to reflect the new name.
