QUANTITIES per ATTRIBUTES - please help

Hi all,

I have looked in FAQ, tutorials and forums for the answer to this and all I see is that it is not possible, but I do not understand how people are running stores without it. I NEED to be able to specify QUANTITIES per ATTRIBUTES.

I am running v1.5.1, this is a new store.
I tried the addon called 'quantities by stock' and it does not work with this version.

After seeing that it is not possible (according to info found thus far), I tried to accept it and start setting each attribute as a separate product, but quickly discovered that it just looks bad and will make browsing products tedious. :frusty: I have small quantities of products with high turnover and need to have to store keep track of inventory as items are purchased.

How are any of you dealing with this.. can you please give me some other options in how to handle it?

kobra, I hope you can help! We downloaded the 3rd party module for the 1.5.0 and are still having problems. Everything works perfectly until you select an out of stock item. After the o.o.s. item hits the page, everything else ordered, including in-stock items, comes up out of stock. If I remove the o.o.s. item, then refresh the page, everything is fine. I've been working on this for HOURS and can't seem to find a fix. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

What are your settings in

admin > config > stock > ??

Thanks you.. However I get the same results as with the other module I mentioned. I do not see any new entries under Catalog ( Catalog->Products with Attributes Stock does not exist). I have manually checked the database and assured that the new tables entries are there and that the configuration table is updated. I verified the file/folders updates took place.

The only odd thing.. from the readme file:
"Prepare the package for upload to your server by renaming the following folders to match your template name: includes/modules/YOUR_TEMPLATE and includes/templates/YOUR_TEMPLATE."

In the downloaded package I have, there was no "includes/modules/YOUR_TEMPLATE".. the only thing under include/modules was a "pages" directory.

Also - the one file from this module breaks the site "includes\functions\functions_lookups.php"

Still having issues with Stock by Attributes module. Does anyone have this working with zc v1.5.1?
