Breadcrumbs Missing Subcategories

I recently moved around my products in to deeper sub-categories. I have the breadcrumbs set up at the top where it shows where the item is placed deep within.

Sometimes certain products have the parent categories skipped in it's breadcrumbs pattern.

Should be:
Sub1 -> Sub2 -> Sub3 -> Product

Displays:
Sub1 -> Sub3 -> Product

Some products even displays (when it's 3 categories deep as above):
Sub1 -> Product

Am I missing some kind of a setting on subcategories?

Is your site so secret you can't let its broken-up name be seen here? The more of us who can look at your site, the more likely someone will spot the issue.

Something wrong with the way you set up categories, I'd say, or you added the links to the header menu wrong (if done manually) or your dropmenu thing isn't working. The proper URL for a sub-sub category should be like cpath=107_108, where 108 is a subcategory of 107. Your Machines>Saws>Hand Saws is just cpath=108 where the Saws category id is 107.

I think it has to be the dropmenu setup. If you go from that to a top category or subcategory, the URL cPath is one id, but further links from the cat/subcat page (not the dropmenu) append the correct continued cPath. If you went straight to a subcat, though, you never get back the top cat in the cPath.
Correct cPaths inserted in the address bar always work, and lead to further correct results.

Oh that makes sense. I am using the Add-on from here for the CSS Drop-down menu. I was curious if there are any options when you create a subcategory that pertains to product placement within.

Also, when I re-did the category system, I moved some level 1 subcategories in to level 2 and so on. This probably caused the inconsistencies. Good to know...
