add search field to header and email subscribe to footer

I am new to zencart and am trying to edit a template I purchased. I want to add a search bar to the header and an email subscribe to the footer. I am a front end developer so I just need direction for the code to replace the current modules that exist in the locations I want to add my search field and email subscribe.

Can somebody tell me how I can move my search field from my left column to the header? Here is my url: http://o-pd.com/zencart/

The search field is below the banner on the left, but I want to put it up top where the currency module is.

I also want to add an email subscribe at the very bottom of my page, under the paypal image is.

I am a developer so I just need some direction to where I might find code to add or where to turn this stuff on or off in the admin.

Hard to say, depending what our friends at Template Monster have done to mess up the code, but a stock Zencart installation/template has an option of a search box in the header, turnonable in Admin - Tools - Layout Boxes Controller.
