Adding Page Numbers to Bottom

I want page numbers on top and bottom of any page where it would automatically appear. In stylesheet I see:

.navSplitPagesLinks {}

But if this is the spot, I have no idea what to enter.

Is five really the maximum number of pages zen cart will display?

BTW, why wouldn't there be an alpha sorter drop down on the All Products page? I have them pop up on pages with far less products, and on this page where I have the most products, it doesn't display.

Thank you.

I am pretty sure the alpha filter can only be used on the product listing page and there is no built in function to use elsewhere.
