How to combine postage for multiple per-unit orders?

Hello to all, i am just wonderring how can i combine postage? i have applied individual shipping charges per item base on weight by editing per unit ie. 12.9kg postage will be $12.95, but if the customers buy two of them then the postage become 2x $12.95 that cost too high, adn i want to add only e.g $3.95 for the extra unit purchase.

any suggestion? Thanks in advanced

Suggest that you investigate charging by weight

Try Per Unit module
Set Shipping Cost per Unit to 0.5
and handling charge to 4.0

i still not understand, the weight for a 6 tier stand is 16.95, accoounding to the formuler postage=Product Quantity * Units (products_weight) * Cost per Unit, i set handle fee is 4, but the postage turn up in check out is $13.98 not $12.475??

Adjust per unit fee and or handling fee
This will net you over on some - below on some so you should test to insure that in most cases you at least net out
