Checkout pages not showing

My SSL checkout and cart pages are not showing when I add an item to my cart, and/or try to checkout or create an account. The create account page, shopping cart page, login pages are all blank.

I have upgraded my zen cart installation and migrated over my database. I am not sure but I think this could have to do with Simple SEO URL's and/or my SSL certificate that I just installed. Perhaps this is a config.php issue. In my config file I have it so that my checkout pages are SSL. These seem to be the pages that are not showing.

Please note that my install is located in a folder called: store

Here is the data in my .htaccess file (located in full zen installation of "store" folder):

#### BOF SSU
Options +FollowSymLinks
RewriteEngine On
# Make sure to change "zencart" to the subfolder you install ZC. If you use root folder, change to: RewriteBase /
RewriteBase /store/

# Deny access from .htaccess
RewriteRule ^\.htaccess$ - [F]

RewriteCond %{SCRIPT_FILENAME} -f [OR]
RewriteCond %{SCRIPT_FILENAME} -d
RewriteRule .* - [L]

RewriteRule ^(.+) index.php/$1 [E=VAR1:$1,QSA,L]
#### EOF SSU

This is my config.php file (store/includes/):

// Define the webserver and path parameters
  // HTTP_SERVER is your Main webserver: eg-http://www.your_domain.com
  // HTTPS_SERVER is your Secure webserver: eg-https://www.your_domain.com
  define('HTTP_SERVER', 'http://www.MYWEBSITE.com');
  define('HTTPS_SERVER', 'https://www.MYWEBSITE.com/store');

  // Use secure webserver for checkout procedure?
  define('ENABLE_SSL', 'true');

// NOTE: be sure to leave the trailing '/' at the end of these lines if you make changes!
// * DIR_WS_* = Webserver directories (virtual/URL)
  // these paths are relative to top of your webspace ... (ie: under the public_html or httpdocs folder)
  define('DIR_WS_CATALOG', '/store/');
  define('DIR_WS_HTTPS_CATALOG', '/');

  define('DIR_WS_IMAGES', 'images/');
  define('DIR_WS_INCLUDES', 'includes/');
  define('DIR_WS_FUNCTIONS', DIR_WS_INCLUDES . 'functions/');
  define('DIR_WS_CLASSES', DIR_WS_INCLUDES . 'classes/');
  define('DIR_WS_MODULES', DIR_WS_INCLUDES . 'modules/');
  define('DIR_WS_LANGUAGES', DIR_WS_INCLUDES . 'languages/');
  define('DIR_WS_DOWNLOAD_PUBLIC', DIR_WS_CATALOG . 'pub/');
  define('DIR_WS_TEMPLATES', DIR_WS_INCLUDES . 'templates/');

  define('DIR_WS_PHPBB', '/');

// * DIR_FS_* = Filesystem directories (local/physical)
  //the following path is a COMPLETE path to your Zen Cart files. eg: /MYROOT/public_html/store/
  define('DIR_FS_CATALOG', '/MYROOT/public_html/store/');

And last here is the MYADMIN/includes/config.php file contents:

   * If you desire your *entire* admin to be SSL-protected, make sure you use a "https:" URL for all 4 of the following:
   */
  define('HTTP_SERVER', 'http://www.MYWEBSITE.com');
  define('HTTPS_SERVER', 'https://www.MYWEBSITE/store');
  define('HTTP_CATALOG_SERVER', 'http://www.MYWEBSITE.com');
  define('HTTPS_CATALOG_SERVER', 'https://www.MYWEBSITE.com/store');

  // secure webserver for catalog module and/or admin areas?
  define('ENABLE_SSL_CATALOG', 'true');
  define('ENABLE_SSL_ADMIN', 'false');

// NOTE: be sure to leave the trailing '/' at the end of these lines if you make changes!

// * DIR_WS_* = Webserver directories (virtual/URL)
  // these paths are relative to top of your webspace ... (ie: under the public_html or httpdocs folder)
  define('DIR_WS_ADMIN', '/store/MYADMINFOLDER/');
  define('DIR_WS_CATALOG', '/store/');
  define('DIR_WS_HTTPS_ADMIN', '/MYADMINFOLDER/');
  define('DIR_WS_HTTPS_CATALOG', '/');

  define('DIR_WS_IMAGES', 'images/');
  define('DIR_WS_ICONS', DIR_WS_IMAGES . 'icons/');
  define('DIR_WS_CATALOG_IMAGES', HTTP_CATALOG_SERVER . DIR_WS_CATALOG . 'images/');
  define('DIR_WS_CATALOG_TEMPLATE', HTTP_CATALOG_SERVER . DIR_WS_CATALOG . 'includes/templates/');
  define('DIR_WS_INCLUDES', 'includes/');
  define('DIR_WS_BOXES', DIR_WS_INCLUDES . 'boxes/');
  define('DIR_WS_FUNCTIONS', DIR_WS_INCLUDES . 'functions/');
  define('DIR_WS_CLASSES', DIR_WS_INCLUDES . 'classes/');
  define('DIR_WS_MODULES', DIR_WS_INCLUDES . 'modules/');
  define('DIR_WS_LANGUAGES', DIR_WS_INCLUDES . 'languages/');
  define('DIR_WS_CATALOG_LANGUAGES', HTTP_CATALOG_SERVER . DIR_WS_CATALOG . 'includes/languages/');

// * DIR_FS_* = Filesystem directories (local/physical)
  //the following path is a COMPLETE path to your Zen Cart files. eg: /MYROOT/public_html/store/
  define('DIR_FS_ADMIN', '/MYROOT/public_html/store/crtstre/');
  define('DIR_FS_CATALOG', '/MYROOT/public_html/store/');

Anyone see an issue with the config.php files versus the .htaccess file? Once again the install is in the "store" folder. I am also running another full installation on another folder on this same server.

Re: Checkout pages not showing

Store includes remove in red add in blue

  define('HTTP_SERVER', 'http://www.MYWEBSITE.com');
  define('HTTPS_SERVER', 'https://www.MYWEBSITE.com/store');

  define('DIR_WS_CATALOG', '/store/');
  define('DIR_WS_HTTPS_CATALOG', '/store/');

Same for admin configure

  define('HTTP_SERVER', 'http://www.MYWEBSITE.com');
  define('HTTPS_SERVER', 'https://www.MYWEBSITE/store');
  define('HTTP_CATALOG_SERVER', 'http://www.MYWEBSITE.com');
  define('HTTPS_CATALOG_SERVER', 'https://www.MYWEBSITE.com/store');

  define('DIR_WS_ADMIN', '/store/MYADMINFOLDER/');
  define('DIR_WS_CATALOG', '/store/');
  define('DIR_WS_HTTPS_ADMIN', '/store/MYADMINFOLDER/');
  define('DIR_WS_HTTPS_CATALOG', '/store/');

Re: Checkout pages not showing

I suspect it has something to do with your catalog http/https setup, why are they different?
Can you show us a link?
Have you tried changing the 'HTTP_SERVER' to be https://

Re: Checkout pages not showing

Kobra, that worked (and oddly enough it finally made sense to me while I was entering the data). Thank you.

Now I have a new problem along the same lines. I cannot add any product to my shopping cart. When I do the shopping cart still says empty and I get a login timeout session with the text of: "Whoops your session has expired". You can see this here: http://www.lasilhouettelingerie.com/store/dresses-c-172/wolford-merino-v-neck-dress-p-1778#.UJ6R5mdFx_9 if you try and add any product to the cart.

I have installed several modules including:

FEC v1.10.0, Quick Updates v2.06, ZX Slideshow v1.5.0, RSS Feed v2.1.6, BackUp ZC v1.1, Image Manager v1.7. Add Customers from Admin v2.0.2, and of Simple SEO URL's

I am wondering if this has to do with a very old installation (2 designs ago) for keep-cart 1.0. So I uninstalled from database and am getting same problem. It seems as if I must be logged in in order to add something to the cart.

Re: Checkout pages not showing

Bislewl: I do not see configuration -> sessions -> add period.

I have this in configuration -> sessions:

Session Directory     /MYROOT/public_html/store/cache
Cookie Domain     True     Info
Force Cookie Use     False
Check SSL Session ID     False
Check User Agent     False
Check IP Address     False
Prevent Spider Sessions     True
Recreate Session     True
IP to Host Conversion Status true
Use root path for cookie path False
Add period prefix to cookie domain True

Kobra: I upgraded following the instructions in Wiki and FAQ's (I am sure I use the proper instructions I did a little research first). But after install I coped my config.php settings from a different installation and different website. I first changed these after the upgrade, and I later changed them after my SSL certificate installation was completed. The reason it was off was because I coped the settings (somewhat) from another website and installation that was in the root directory. I compared that to my second installation on this same server but in a different folder (these settings were also wrong because SSL was never up and running before, so I did not notice the issue was present).

Re: Checkout pages not showing

Well it seems that the " add to cart" button is not working or connecting with what it should after being clicked. I looked at the source of the webpage but I could not see anything (not that I am trained). Also since the top cart view, is not showing the product being added, when I click the add to cart button: has to be something between that add top cart button in the product view, to where the cart should go when added (I have it checked to go to cart after adding). If I hover over the "add to cart button" a URL does not show in my address bar, but it does for the prev, listing, and next button above. I was just wondering if it was connected to the right page.

I disabled FEC (fast Easy Checkout) in the control panel but still the same issue. I then looked at the files in FEC to see if I could have overwritten a core file, did not see any in the template area. I compared my original includes/templates/MYTEMPLATE/templates/tpl_product_info_display.php and it was the same. So it can't be the product view page. Seems like there were some files overwritten in the includes/modules/pages that had to do with checkout when I was installing FEC.

I am thinking that this might be a core file that was overwritten during my plugin updates. Could the admin/order.php be an issue causing this? I know this file was a duplicate and merged.

Re: Checkout pages not showing

Also I just changed the template to default (which was not touched) and I get the same error with the default template. So the problem is not attached to my current template.

Re: Checkout pages not showing

Got it! I received a private message alerting me that is was likely a Simple SEO URL's compatibility issue.

It was the Simple SEO URL's which seemed to work but did not. As many people stated this Simple SEO URL's is not comaptible with v1.5.1 core cart as I found out. I just installed Ultimate URL's over the top and it now works properly. Thanks all of you for your time.
