FROM address for order confirmation email

I am in the process of testing my new zencart setup. When I place an order, I get a automatic confirmation email as expected, but I can't seem to control the email address that shows as the "FROM" address. I've tried various combinations of email addresses and settings in Configuration/Email options, but regardless of what I put there, it always shows as coming from the same email address. Is there a way to change this?

I would like the person who placed the order to see that the email is coming from the store name or "orders@harmonysportsandgifts" or something like that. It's currently coming from maureen@harmonybaskets but the worst part is that it actually shows Maureen's full first and last name in the "from" address. I have changed various email settings and no matter what I do, it still comes out the same. (Sorry - I am a newbie here)

Change all maureen@harmonybaskets to orders@harmonysportsandgifts

I changed them all to orders@harmonysportsandgifts just to make sure and the order confirmation still came from [email protected]. I have no idea where zencart is getting this email address.

Email is STILL coming from Maureen.

In your hosting account check for forwarders etc

Last resort use developers tool fit under you admin > tools and search for instances of "Maureen"

No forwarders or anything in our mail account. I did a search for Maureen and found nothing. I've opened a ticket with justhost regarding the email settings. It almost has to be coming from that side. If you have any other ideas, let me know. Thanks

I spoke to my mail host. They had me change the mail transport method from smtp to smtpauth. It sort of worked. I got an email from harmonysportsandgifts.com which is what I wanted. However I ALSO got an email from [email protected]. One says "order confirmation" which is the one I like and the other says "customer receipt/purchase confirmation" which I would like to turn off. Any idea why I (i.e., the customer) am now getting two emails?

Just an idea - export your database uncompressed and open it in a code editor(notepad++) or other that will handle large files and search for that email address

Problem solved. The second email was due to a setting in the authorize.net payment module. (Should Authorize.Net email a receipt to the customer?) Changed it to "false" and the unwanted email disappeared. Thanks for the help.
