Sold Out of stock Items

Some how. maybe during 1.5 upgrade things changed and allowed my inventory to be sold while not in stock.:no: I have now gone to Congif / Stock / and changed... allow checkout to.. false. Is there anything else I need to change to make sure no one can buy unless an item is in stock?

If you also do not want the product displayed
In stock set "Products status in Catalog when out of stock should be set to" to "0"
