SamWilson3D.com Templates Support

Ok. I've done a complete new install and didn't install any plugins except your template. It's still not working. Please help.

Re: SamWilson3D.com Templates Support

Sorry to be such a bother, but I'm trying to determine the problem. I have also now installed your fidelity template that has the flyout menu. It also won't flyout. It's all on a clean install so I'm really confused. is there something I need to enable/disable in the config to make flyouts work?

Re: SamWilson3D.com Templates Support

One last thing. On the horizontal menu (the one going across the header), the products show under the category when hovered over. They do not show when hovering the category in the left column.

IGNORE THE BELOW. THIS WAS ONLY AFTER I INSTALLED ANOTHER MENU TRYING TO GET IT TO WORK. I've once again installed fresh. still no luck.

Re: SamWilson3D.com Templates Support

REALLY FEELING STUPID HERE! I guess I didn't understand the way it works. I didn't have any subcategories, so nothing was flying out. I want to know how I can actually make it show products as the flyouts instead of subcategories. Is that possible?

Re: SamWilson3D.com Templates Support

I I just installed the Antiseptic template on v1.5.1 but there seems as though there may be file(s) missing from the zip file.

The header top displays:

HEADER_TITLE_CATALOG HEADER_TITLE_LOGIN instead of Home Login

then I get similar variable names displaying throughout the page instead of the defined text.

Any help would be greatly appreciated - thanks

Re: SamWilson3D.com Templates Support

Fairly certain there are no files missing. Re-uploading some modules or templates may fix if a file did not upload properly.

Check your zen cart version for compatibility, as well as any modules you may have installed that would modify or create new constants like "HEADER_TITLE_CATALOG"

HEADER_TITLE_CATALOG is a constant that has no definition in your installation, but why that is I do not know offhand.

Hi

I found the problem ... the zip file has an incomplete file (catalog\includes\languages\english\antiseptic\header.php is this:

<?php /** * @package languageDefines * @copyright Copyright 2003-2006 Zen Cart Development Team * @copyright Portions Copyright 2003 osCommerce * @license <http://www.zen-cart.com/license/2_0.txt> GNU Public License V2.0 * @version $Id: header.php 2940 2006-02-02 04:29:05Z drbyte $ */ define('HEADER_LOGO_IMAGE', 'DB_Logo_new.gif'); ?>

There are no definitions for the rest of the variables.

I took a copy of the header.php from a previous template I use and added these in to get:

<?php /** * @package languageDefines * @copyright Copyright 2003-2006 Zen Cart Development Team * @copyright Portions Copyright 2003 osCommerce * @license <http://www.zen-cart.com/license/2_0.txt> GNU Public License V2.0 * @version $Id: header.php 2940 2006-02-02 04:29:05Z drbyte $ */ define('HEADER_LOGO_IMAGE', 'DB_Logo_new.gif'); // header text in includes/header.php define('HEADER_TITLE_CREATE_ACCOUNT', 'Create Account'); define('HEADER_TITLE_MY_ACCOUNT', 'My Account'); define('HEADER_TITLE_CART_CONTENTS', 'Shopping Cart'); define('HEADER_TITLE_CHECKOUT', 'Checkout'); define('HEADER_TITLE_TOP', 'Top'); define('HEADER_TITLE_CATALOG', 'Home'); define('HEADER_TITLE_LOGOFF', 'Log Out'); define('HEADER_TITLE_LOGIN', 'Log In'); // added defines for header alt and text // DB#1 --> Begin define('HEADER_ALT_TEXT', 'Digi-Books: Spend £ess ..... Read More!'); define('HEADER_SALES_TEXT', '<br />Spend £ess ..... Read More!'); define('HEADER_LOGO_WIDTH', '358px'); define('HEADER_LOGO_HEIGHT', '80px'); // add in total book live and pending define('HEADER_LIVE_BOOKS_PREFIX', 'Choose from '); // End --> DB#1 // header Search Button/Box Search Button define('HEADER_SEARCH_BUTTON','Search'); define('HEADER_SEARCH_DEFAULT_TEXT', 'Enter search keywords here'); ?>

Now it all works :smile:

Re: SamWilson3D.com Templates Support

Hi Sam, I have installed All-Natural (love it) and would like to add more pictures to the header area. I have found in the css where the header.jpg's are located.
.logoWrapper {
margin: 0 2px;
padding: 0em;
height:294px;
border:1px solid #ccc;
background-repeat: repeat-x;
display:block;
text-align:center;
}

#logoWrapper1 {
background-image: url(../images/header1.jpg);
}
There are 6 there and I would like to add more - so I copied and pasted for a #7, put a #7 jpg in images but I can't get it to show when I change pages on my site. What else do I need to change so more than 6 images show.

I appreciate any suggestions.

Re: SamWilson3D.com Templates Support

You found the css that responds to the classes. now you need to find the code that generates the random number from 1 to 6 to create the logowrapper1, logowrapper2.... classes and change it to be a number higher than 6.

Re: SamWilson3D.com Templates Support

I have installed the All Natural, it is amazing... I am having a issue with the products showing up in their categories. The images and products are on the admin side but not the public side. They are only showing up under new products. Any ideas what the problem could be.
v1.5.4 (New Installation) via FTP and ran zc install
PHP Version 5.4.34
Addons Wantbutton, dual pricing, imagehandler4, easypopulate4, sale ending,
mysticwytchescloset.com
Thank you for any assistance

This sounds like a problem with Zen Cart and not the template itself. Double check your category structure. Are we sure that Zen Cart recognizes that the products are in categories?

Re: SamWilson3D.com Templates Support

I was just wondering....the Fidelity template, it installed very easy....nothing but the folder for the templates were in the zip.

It seems to be working except no flyout menu is seen anywhere nor anywhere in admin to tell it to show either.

The thing is that if I enter the site link here to check it out: https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/mobile-friendly

Google claims it is not responsive. So did something not make it into the template install folder or what is going on.

link to the actual store it is in: yourlookinghealthy.com

Re: SamWilson3D.com Templates Support

Hi,

I recently installed All Natural to be used on my site and need to add a menu item to go back to my main site which is not where zencart is located. I've been trying to find where the file that contains the home and login selector is at the top.

I really like this design it is so clean.

Any help would be appreciated.

Re: SamWilson3D.com Templates Support

Hello,

I figured out the menu problem in the All Natural template, I had to add but have found a problem with the display of the shopping cart. When the cart is displayed after ordering a item the text blends in with the background so that it impossible to see. If you hover over it it turns to black text so that is the only time you can read it.

This happens in both google and firefox browsers.

Any one run into this and know where the code is to fix, I've looked in the css and can't find it there.

Thanks in advance......

Re: SamWilson3D.com Templates Support

Hi,

I've working on the style file pretty much all day and found a couple of colors I could change to make the cart contents viable. The thing is when I changed it it made a couple of other text colors to change such as the whois on line and search text. I tried to find the background color for the cart but never did.

The store is at papashosting.com/store

Its a store I'm setting up for clients to get templates and other digital products for free.

If you only want to change the color of the shopping cart text use these:

table#cartContentsDisplay

and

table#cartContentsDisplay a

Sub Total is:

#cartSubTotal

If you want to make css changes I would recommend using chrome and the web developer tools. They will show you the exact line of which file needs to be edited.

Thanks,

Anne

Re: SamWilson3D.com Templates Support

Hello Anne,

I have looked the values you listed in the templates css file but can't find them at all. I use Firefox with there tools and that is where I found the text colors. I tried using chrome and didn't see any difference unless I'm missing something.
