Need more than 3 sub category listings per column

OK after 4 hours I give up and will ask.

Please note this is SUB CATEGORY LISTING! and NOT PRODUCT LISTING.
Just so there is no confusion.

I can not find how to get more than 3 sub category listing across when displayed.

Here is the listing of Candles on my test site

http://rsessentials.com/shop/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=2

as you can see there are 3 across and it can easily hold 4 across.

How does one change this?
