Help with attributes how to set up qty for each

I could not find an answer to this. If there is one sorry to repeat.
I am adding color attributes to a few of my products.
I want to be able to only take orders for colors I have in stock.
How do I set this up?

There's a plugin called "Stock by Attributes" (or something close to that) ... I haven't used it.

If you try it, be sure to use the mod version that is made for your version of Zen Cart. Older versions will not work in ZC v1.5.x.
