Page not display after adding a product to the cart

Hi all,
i have an issure with one of the sites i have done for a client.

when a product is add to the cart, normally zencart loads up the cart page which shows what products has been added.
but now when a product is added, it doesnt show up the cart page. but if i click on "my cart" link, it will show the cart, but then again if i select to "check out" or "continue shopping" from the cart page, the page goes blank again. im cross checking the files with the backup ive got, but havent find any errors yet my guess is this is a common issue and there should be a simple answer (which i cannot find).
anybody have an idea of what has gone wrong?

i think it might be a broken php code. can u tell me the name of the software that checks for un even coding, which can be check within the original and the excisting. i know such software exsists and i have use it long time ago, but i cant remember the name of that.

Along with Kobra's link, you might try looking in the cache folder to see if the problem created a debug file. Note: In 1.5.1, it would be in the logs folder.

okay, i think i found the problem. it was a malware. just got it cleaned (but not 100% sure about this untill google tell its safe)
this site http://www.unmaskparasites.com, served me well to track the malware. but again it doesnt give you a 100% accurate results. but it did the job for me. and im sure many who use zencart will be benifit from their service.

3 of my sites (zencart) was attacked by malware bots, and was blocked by google. and it was hectic to find all the malicious coding in about 6000 files in each zencart site:shocking:, was wondering whether there's a better way to tackle this issue. i tried to find any addons or 3rd party support to check for any malware in a zencart site. but wasnt lucky to find any. does anybody of you ladies and gentlemen know any such? if there's none this would be a good idea to look into as an addon. :cool:
