Homepage Layout with CSS3 Hover Effects - 8 Variations

I was just trying to combine the two together so the site looks seamless.

Where I uploaded the Bristol background and header menu background images took over, that is basically how I wanted it with a few modifications.

I do not want the ribbon header and footer link background on the Hompage, I instead wanted the others like Bristol Lace template. I was wanting to know where the ribbon link background is located?

On the Homepage footer, is there anyway to make that background the same on as the Bristol header.

When I did add the templates together it made the Home, Log In, Account, Currenty, and all that go under the link background. Do you know how to fix any of these?

If you want to make css changes to the template I strongly recommend using firefox and installing firebug. It will help you to find the exact lines in the stylesheets that you need to edit.

1. Remove the display:none; from the index.css file

2. To add to the header menu you can edit includes/templates/14884/common/tpl_mega_menu.php. To add to the footer edit includes/templates/14884/common/tpl_footer.php

3. The error log does not have anything to do with your logo. Check the file and line mentioned to find the problem.

4. The template was cross browser tested out of the box for ie9, ie9, ie7, chrome, firefox, and safari. If you make changes you will need to cross browser test again and make any adjustments that are needed to the css.

You will need to edit one of the css files. If you are making css changes, I would recommend using firefox and using the web developer tools/firebug to find the lines and files that need to be edited.

My error log shows the following:

PHP Fatal error: 1109:Unknown table 'p' in field list :: select count(p.products_id) as total in /home/alljust/public_html/includes/classes/db/mysql/query_factory.php on line 120

I looked at the file - can't make heads or tales of it and have never touched it.
This just started happens only when I turn my template 14884 on (of course there must be a reason, I just have no clue what it could be).

When i turn the template 14884 off the "all products" and "new products" shows up with no problem or error

You need to edit the includes/templates/override/common/tpl_mega_menu.php file.

This is not a problem with the template. If you look at the template demo you will see that there is no problem. I would look to any addons/modules you have installed in the cart or try re-uploading the files from the template package in the includes/modules directory.

For some reason I am having a problem getting this new template loaded to my store. I have moved the "includes" folder over by FTP but it did not go into the correct directory so I manually moved the includes into the original includes folder and moved the template over. I am missing something here. I have attached some screen shots. Love the #10 that would like to use. Any information you can give me would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much!!

This module is not a complete template, just a home page layout module. See the readme.html file for installation instructions.

I am still confused. I read the readme.html file and did as it stated but there was no change and nothing to change in me admin panel. I guess I dont understand the page layout model should still change the default template that is set up?

Did you make the manual edit specified in the readme file? There is no where in the admin where this module will show up.

Hi I just installed this mod and it looks great, thank you for your work. I came across this post and am trying to do exactly what you say here. I am trying to keep my left and right columns with this mod between both columns. For some reason, the columns are there but stay below the hover effects instead of to the right and left. Never mind, I was able to figure it out.
I needed to update the original "tpl_main_page" file instead of replacing the whole file with the one included in the module.

For those interested:
I copied <?php require($template->get_template_dir('tpl_homepage_hover_effects_1.php',DIR_WS_TEMPLATE, $current_page_base,'common'). '/tpl_homepage_hover_effects_1.php');?> and placed it under the "contentMainWrapperb" (I am using cherryzen template). I then updated stylesheet.css by adding margin-top:-400px on the #navColumnOne and #navColumnTwo and it worked for me.
