Re: Odd character showing in corner of browser.

It does display in IE8 and in the source. Maybe in includes/templates/apple_zen/common/html_header.php ?

It doesn't show up in Chrome, it does show up in Opera but shoved way over to the left so far it's hard to see. In FF it shows up clearly. It looks like the symbol for a carriage return if that helps you track it down.

Re: Odd character showing in corner of browser.

Could be a number of things - including a "hack", but that is quite remote...

Open the html_header.php file of your apple_zen template.

I think there is a LETTER SPACE occurring just before the opening <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd">

<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd">

Just put your cursor next to the opening < and hit the BACKSPACE key.

<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd">

Then save.

Re: Odd character showing in corner of browser.

It's some time since I used Apple Zen, but if there is no html_header.php file in the template's COMMON folder, try:

/includes/templates/template_default/common/
