Category page questions, how do i remove the main cat image?

When going to a sub-category page, is there a way to turn of the category image that appears there, near the top of the content area?

http://starlight.dev.ableengine.com/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=6

i need to make many changes to that page and am looking on includes/templates/template_default/templates (or common) for the php file that might, hopefully govern that page. is there such a file for that page?,

big thanks in advance,

thanks, i had looked at that. that won't work. i need cat images on the home page, but not on the sub-category pages.
so far, it's seems like it going to be a difficult to get those pages to behave differently. wonder if you can flag them somehow?

If it's homepage vs. internal category pages you want to distinguish, that is easy. Find the class identifier for the category element you want to affect, make a general rule for it, then make a homepage rule for the same element prefixed with #indexHome, like (dummy example)

.catListingImage {what: ever;}
#indexHome .catListingImage {what: else;}
