Free shiping to the US only

I'm obviously just missing the obvious but here's the situation. My client has products marked as always free shipping. The Freeshipper module is installed and active with the total>=0. If the product is ordered free shipping displays in the methods. If the product is ordered along with a product that is not marked always free shipping the other shipping methods display. Perfect. To keep free shipping from showing up for international orders I set up a US zone and applied it to freeshipper. Now the problem. If the shipping address is outside of the US and the free shipping always product is ordered, free shipping is not offered but neither are any of the other methods. If it's an international shipping address I need to make it think there are no items in the cart that are free shipping so it calculates the other methods. Any ideas how to do this?

Re: Free shiping to the US only

You have Products that are marked Always Free Shipping and others that have weight, correct?

In the US, you want these Products to be Free Shipping, correct?

Outside the US, what should happen when I order a Product marked as Always Free Shipping?

When in the US and ordering Products that are Always Free Shipping ... do you want the other shipping options to show?

What Shipping Modules are you using?

Hi Ajeh,
Some products are marked as always free shipping and others aren't. All products have weights assigned.

In the US I want it to work exactly as designed. If the entire cart is free shipping then the freeshipper module will display. If a mix of free ship and non free ship are in the cart show the other methods. When free shipping is offered I do not want the other options to display.

For an international order I want it to ignore the fact that the products are marked as free shipping and display the regular shipping methods only.

The shipping modules used are UPS, USPS, and freeshipper.
