I need help

I dont know what I have done but I am unable to get into my zen cart admin panel. All I get is the Http 500 internal server error. This only started happening after I installed the Edit Orders v4.0.3, I haven't installed the SQL as yet.

Is there a way to get the admin panel back without losing all the details or having to reinstall the whole site again or having to pay my webhost to restore the site.

I did a back up before installing the module and tried to reinstall that but it didnt work either, I am still getting the http 500 message.

If someone could please help me asap in this I would really appreciate it even if its just to remove the module to sort it all out.

Are there any debug*.log files in your store's /cache folder? If so, they'll be indicative of what the underlying error is ...

You can edit your /YOUR_ADMIN/includes/configure.php and find, towards the bottom of the file:

  // The next 2 "defines" are for SQL cache support.
  // For SQL_CACHE_METHOD, you can select from:  none, database, or file
  // If you choose "file", then you need to set the DIR_FS_SQL_CACHE to a directory where your apache 
  // or webserver user has write privileges (chmod 666 or 777). We recommend using the "cache" folder inside the Zen Cart folder
  // ie: /path/to/your/webspace/public_html/zen/cache   -- leave no trailing slash  
  define('SQL_CACHE_METHOD', 'database'); 

and change that to

  // The next 2 "defines" are for SQL cache support.
  // For SQL_CACHE_METHOD, you can select from:  none, database, or file
  // If you choose "file", then you need to set the DIR_FS_SQL_CACHE to a directory where your apache

Note: This does not correct the issue that you're having with the cache; it simply masks the problem by disabling the writing of the cached information to the database so that you can get into your admin.

Also you didn't install edit orders right and that's the reason your getting the 500 error. See your PM.
