new user?

I suddenly have a user account that was created, my store is running as "Showcase with prices" should that be possible?

Yes, even a store in showcase mode is able to have customers register accounts if they get to the login or create-account page.

No, in showcase with or without prices the create account link is disabled ...

Check if you have something changed on your template ...

However, as DrByte said, if the customer comes in on a link to your site that goes to the login or they change the url to get to the login page then they could create an account ...

I don't have a login link in my template so likely someone might have had a bookmark or was playing with the URL's no logins on the account so I'll delete it and keep an eye on things! Thanks!
