Manufacturer Description/About

I've just installed the attached Mod, which installs fine.

It creates a text box for putting in extra Manufacturer information/description/about onto Manufacturer pages.

However when you enter text into the text entry box it doesn't put it into the database and therefore doesn't show on the front end or the admin.

I just wondered if anybody could shed any light on what to do in order to get this to work successfully? I need a text entry box in order to put in a further description for manufacturers and this seems to have the right idea, just doesn't fully function.

Unless there's another way of adding a manufacturer description that can be edited in the admin?

Was this p roblem solved? I'm having the same problem here. Only i used the "manufactures description and medadata merge".

Hi this was resolved however it doesn't work with CKeditor or FCKEditor properly. You have to manually enter html, however it works as I have it running on another cart. Bryan who also posted on here gave me alot of help with this, so credit to him.

I think this is the working version. Obviously install it on a separate cart to start with and have a play around.[Attachment no longer available]
