How to troubleshoot odd behavior
This is a 1.3.9a installation.
We've been experiencing isolated bits of odd behavior. Two come to mind:

A downloadable file, which, after a successful order, did not have a link to it;

A mis-applied shipping rate for an order. We're using zoned rates based on price. The price of the order was under a certain threshold, yet the rate for the next highest level of shipping was applied.
In both cases, we've checked files and settings and everything seems OK. The problems are sporadic and we haven't been able to reproduce them ourselves.
Do we chalk this up to some kind of "burp", or is there a way to drill deeper into the process to see what happened after the fact?
