Making a product non-discountable

I have one category with 6 products that I want to never be allowed to be discounted. They are classes and very different from the many products that I sell. I know how to restrict coupons and sales when they are created, but is there a way to make a product immune from all coupons/discounts/sales? Can I do this at the product level or perhaps at the category level.
I have searched the forums, but couldn't find anything that applies.

Thank you!
L.

Re: Making a product non-discountable

There is no global built-in mechanism to do this; it has to be done on a discount-by-discount basis.
