PayPal Not Showing Separate Product and Shipping Costs
Hi,
When I make a sale on my website and view the order in Zen Cart, it shows the amount of money collected for the sale and the shipping as follows:
Subtotal: $20.00
USPS Shipping: $3.89
Total: $23.89
However, when I view the transaction in PayPal, it lists only $23.89 as the total amount, it does not separate the shipping cost from the product price in PayPal. I'm using PayPal Website Payments Standard to process my transactions.
Is there a way to set Zen Cart to send the product cost and shipping cost information separately to PayPal?
I need to use the information in PayPal for accounting purposes. Zen Cart reports do not account for pending transactions, etc and I need to have my accounting accurately reflect the exact balance in my PayPal account at all times. Going through each transaction in Zen Cart to find out the shipping cost is not practical as I am dealing with hundreds of orders per day. Ideally I'd like to view a daily sales report from PayPal that will show me separate sales and shipping income costs.
Any advice is appreciated. Thanks!
