admin area giving strange results

Created a test site to upgrade to 1.5.0. When I went to the admin area, I'm getting:

1146 Table 'pazdarwi_test.TABLE_ADMIN_MENUS' doesn't exist
in:
[SELECT menu_key, language_key FROM TABLE_ADMIN_MENUS ORDER BY sort_order]

It also is stating that I'm still on version 1.3.7.1

What do I need to correct?

Re: admin area giving strange results

It means that many of your PHP files are still the old ones, and not the files from the newer version.

Re: admin area giving strange results

I had unzipped a copy of 1.5.0 in my host. The only things I changed were the standard sort of template changes (such as adding a 2nd logo) which I copied from my current site.

On a separate note, my apologies for posting the question above a 2nd time today. When I did a search on my name to see if there was a response, I did not see the post and thought maybe I made a mistake when posting yesterday.

Re: admin area giving strange results

The configure.php files that I used were copied from my current website. They were from ver. 1.3.7.1. Could this be the cause of the error and if so where do I get configure.php files for ver. 1.5.0?

Re: admin area giving strange results

No. The problem is not your configure.php files.

The problem is that the files you've got on your site are neither v1.3.7 nor v1.5.x

You need to start over with a proper upgrade. Instructions for upgrading manually are here: https://www.zen-cart.com/upgrade

Re: admin area giving strange results

I figured out the issue. It was with the copying / upgrading of the databases.

Re: admin area giving strange results

Can you explain how you fixed it in more detail please. I am having the same issue. All the files are new and unchanged from version 1.5.1, the only thing I changed was the 2 configure.php files and the upgrade went from 1.3.8 to 1.3.9 then 1.3.9 to 1.5.0 then to 1.5.1.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks.
