download button - text link

:blink:Instead of offering the download button after checkout, how can the customers be given the full text url so that they can copy and paste it somewhere else. It should be a temporary link similar to the download button, but the only difference being that it is a text link and will expire in the set number of days.

Question: Why do you feel you need that?

The customer can easily right-click the button and choose "Copy URL" or "Copy Link" from the menu that appears.
But it won't work unless they're logged in to their account, for security reasons ... ie: part of the link expiration process.

I would like to offer the download as a text link because some people may not know what to do when an image opens in their browser. Of course can do it as a zip file, but then customers have to go through the hassle of unzipping it.

What kind of files are they downloading? Are the JPG images? Or something else?

Then add |jpg| to the two lists of filetypes in your /pub/.htaccess file, such as in addition to where |pdf|PDF| is listed.
