Help!! where do these files came from?

Hi, everyone, I new to Zencart and I'm running my store with MAC OS, recently I found there are files like below names(dot and underscore in the front) in my website file, can someone tell me:

where are these files comming from?
is that going to affect my website?

strange files:
._tpl_main_page.php
._tpl_main_page3.php
._tpl_header.php
._tpl_footer.php
...

my guess is they are coming from my computer with MAC OS, but I'm not sure about it.

much appreciate your help!

They are nothing to worry about. They won't affect your website. More info can be found here (among many other places)
