checkout_shipping suddenly showing blank white page

I am posting this here because I'm not sure exactly what is causing it. In the last hour or so, since my last full test runthrough to 'Confirm Order' stage, step 1 of checkout has broken, I am getting a blank white page!

Most recent add-on is Store Credit by numinix, installed with great care but not yet fully tested. I have turned it off. I have turned COWOA off. Still the same result.

I have uninstalled Store Credit plugin. I reverted to default order.php file, but same error. I am now going to uninstall COWOA plugin.

OK, uninstalled COWOA plugin, everything is normal again. I had forgotten my own golden rule, never install mods that change core files, no matter how "mature" it is, or how smart the developer seems.
