Can I make attributes have a line break in between them?

is there a quick way to add default to each attribute ? i know how to do it with each product didnt know if there was a store wide method to do it
Not really... as you have created your option VALUES for different option NAMES already, you need to create a NEW option VALUE for each NAME.
I create an option value (for each name) titled "Please make a selection...", and I give it a SORT ORDER of " 1 ". All the remaining VALUES are given a higher sort order number, usually in TENS (10, 20, 30, 40, 50).
When I assign it to a product, I make it DISPLAY ONLY and the DEFAULT CHOICE. (see the "legends" in Attributes Controller).
You can UPDATE attributes in "bulk" by using the COPY feature in Attributes Controller.
Then, when I am finished with adding attributes, I go to TOOLS >>> STORE MANAGER ... and reset the sort orders. This can also be done in Attributes Controller.
