USPS is Updating Their APIs Jan. 27th, 2013-Test Servers Available Now.

If you use USPS Web Tools APIs, check to see the 2013 API updates to make sure your eCommerce programs are ready for the changes coming January 27th.

I think I am just being paranoid that perhaps I don't have the most up to date one...but could you confirm?

Just did a file compare with the documents I have currently live on site.
There do not appear to be any differences.
I think the most recent updated version is being downloaded when selecting "Download Latest" from

The version that is currently downloading is still the old Version: v15 RateV3 B

I am not sure why the old version was downloading but I have reloaded the USPS January 27, 2013 shipping module ...

The file name is:

International shipping not working for me in version 1.3.9h I have first class international checked but the only option in shipping calculator for international is priority mail...please help!

usps.php

and select Catalog ... then click SEARCH ...

what is the version id that comes up on the files?

If you go to the Modules ... Shipping ... and click on the USPS module, what do you see in the right panel?

Could you please download the new USPS shipping module again?

There was some sort of mixup on the download for a few hours and it sounds like you got last years file rather than this years ...

Make sure the file that you get is:

I did have the correct file (it matches what you said it should be). But, I uninstalled, downloaded again and reinstalled anyway and now...it works! :clap:

I haven't made the switch to the updated module yet. I only ship to the US. I offered priority and parcel post (and first class if it was light enough) before, now the USPS has renamed parcel post "Standard Post". When I make a test purchase on my site the shipping options come up with priority and standard post (and first class for light stuff) and the quoted rates are the same as those on the USPS website calculator. So - does that mean that whatever changes were made to this module don't affect me and I don't need to change it?

Ajeh - I just upgraded the module but I am not getting any international rates back. Anything I can check?

I am running 1.5.1, and after upgrading the module, I uninstalled/reinstalled using the new one. All settings are identical to the old version, except I now see the new USPS Version Date (2013-01-27) in the settings.

Figured it out. Apparently, even though I copied my original settings, I ACCIDENTALLY overwrote the usps.php files BEFORE I UNINSTALLED. So when i removed the module, it was doing that after the new files were updated. I didn't think that would make an issue, but apparently it did! DOOOOH!

So using a backup, I restored the original PHP files, removed the module again, then reuploaded the NEW files, and reinstalled that way. Now all seems to be working.

Sorry for the false alarm!

Hello, I just updated the USPS Shipping module for the new 2013 rates and everything seems to be working except the First Class Rates are not matching the First Class Rates on the usps.com site. I have check a couple different products and weights and I am not getting the same rates on my site as I do when I get a rate quote from usps.com. Any idea why my first class would not be matching?

I am running v1.5.0. and I have made sure I downloaded the correct file.

Please check that you really have the new January 13, 2013 module ... there was an issue with the downloads prior to midnight on January 26, 2013 ... make sure you got:
USPS v15 Ratev3 2013_0127.zip

Or just download it again and install it following the instructions ...

Once you are sure it is the right file, please post what you are getting and what you are getting from USPS web site ...
