Free Shipping Over $75 - working correctly with 15% off coupon

hello all,

i have an issue i can't seem to figure out. i have my Free Shipping (freeoptions) set for free shipping over $75 order.

i also have a coupon code for 15% off the entire order.

the problem is, if a customer orders a $80 product and starts the checkout, free shipping is given. but, on the next step after the coupon code is entered, the total comes to $68.00, which is below my minimum for free shipping...but the shipping is still $0.00 in the cart...

i was trying to configure sort orders, but nothing seems to work.

does anyone have an idea?

What are your current settings for your admin's Modules->Order Total?

i messed around with the sort orders here, but nothing changed (except for the order of display).

You have to change code to make it work this way; nothing is built in.
