Duplicated Template and Now 2nd Template produces Errors

Hi Everyone,
I've got a strange problem and I've never seen it before and I've scoured the boards for some help to no avail...
I have a client who wants minor changes to her template so she can switch between the two designs whenever she wants to. I had customized a template for her original design and then duplicated that template folder, renamed it and uploaded it into the templates directory. I figured I would then work her minor changes into the second, duplicate template.

When I switch in the admin to the new "duplicate" template, I am getting errors on the product information page, which seems weird because it's the EXACT same group of template files from the original template that works just fine.

Here is the message I'm getting in my cache:

So, I assume then that the problem is with the additional images portion of the product page and when I delete that section, it works fine. But, if the original version of the template works with the additional images, why doesn't the duplicate work? Am I missing something? I'm pulling my hair out all day trying to figure this out.

If that's not bad enough, the product listing display also does not display correctly (although I don't get any error messages, just products jumbled on the page incorrectly).

So again, if the template is an exact duplicate, why would there be any errors or problems with the layout? :yuck:

Ok, finally figured it out of course right after I posted this.

I had forgotten to duplicate the template folder in modules...
