While in maintenance mode how can I view my site?

I am BRAND new not only to Zen Cart but to my ecommerce store. I am in the process of learning about EVERYTHING and want to get started making changes to the home page etc. My site is currently in maintenance mode. My question is: How can I see my actual site like a customer would without taking it out of maintenance mode? I don't want to take it off maintenance because it is not ready to be seen by the public yet. As you can see, I am a newbie to it all!!!!! Please help!

one of the options in maintenance mode is to add your ip address to the exclusion so that you can view. just Google 'what's my ip address', it'll be something like 192.168.1.blah blah then add that number to the exclusion list.

Also, your IP address shows in the menu bar of your Admin once you're logged in to your admin.
And unless you've turned it off or removed the feature from your template, it also shows below the footer on your storefront.
