How can I disallow html in the 'contact us' email form to stop spammers??

I am having issues with someone using my email contact on one of my sites for sending out spam emails - I have the 'captcha' add-on installed but wondered if there is a way to stop html code being allowed in the email message box.

Near as I can tell, HTML isn't allowed in the Contact Us form.

thanks Steve however I am getting bunches of spam emails every day most with links in them. Most contact us forms I have used (gazillions in search of link exchanges) do allow html, it is only a few I have come across that do not, they give a warning after you hit send. Some even have character limits. Can the one in Zen-Cart be configured?
