How possible is this? Pages that only downloaders can see

I help to sell downloadable guides for a few countries. We'd like to show a latest update page for the clients that have downloaded our guides in the past 2 years.

My questoon is: Is this achievable? Is there a plugin or something that could help me with this or is there another way around this?

I have been searching but so far I really cannot find anything.

Any help will be gratefully received.

Thanks

Maybe I can word this better: Is there a way or plugin I can use to password protect an information page for anyone who has downloaded the actual document.

Alternatively could this be offered as a free download? Please any help would be appreciated.
