wishlist button is resizing when I try to replace it

I have a strange problem, I'm trying to replace the image for my wishlist button on my product page, but when I upload a new .gif and reload the page to look at it, it's re-sized smaller than the original and the resolution looks degraded. This doesn't happen when I replace my "add to cart" button.

thanks for any help, I took over this sight and and still trying to figure out all the custom changes my predecessor did.

I just tried that, I get the same result.

Put the new button up and let's take a look. My guess is that the button in question is sized in the stylesheet and the new button isn't of the same dimensions as the old one. Your stylesheets are very difficult to examine, so i don't know for sure.

visually it looks to be about 70% of the size it needs to be.

The Web Developer in IE says that if you remove the height: 20px; from the input name="wishlist" element it'll fix the problem. Where that is in your tangled mess of stylesheets is anyone's guess. If it were my site, the first thing I would do is turn off the 'minify' nonsense (usually an option in admin) so I could see the stylesheets.

lol, thank you, I was seeing that too. My tangled mess is mine to suffer through till I can get all this straightened out, my esteemed predecessor did not have a good head for organization.

I didn't know about 'minify' I will check that out, thank you.

That worked! Thank you! I wasn't aware of what minify was doing and it's a big help to turn it off, thanks for the good advice
